Cheap $20 Greenhouse made with old windows.


A friend of mine had some old window panes he was getting rid of for $20.00. I was going to build a frame to put them on the West side of the house but it turned out they fit perfectly in the flowerbed. Capped the ends with some used wood blocks I cut to fit. 3 on one side, then left a gap in the middle with some large rocks as a thermal mass (as well as the radiant heat from the house). Within 3-4 days I started seeing our perennials starting to sprout up.
