Transfeeder hay is processed to produce a clean, healthy forage substitute for your animals. All of the hay is put through a process involving heat to kill mold, mildew and insects, blower to remove debris, magnets to catch any possible metallic contamination and compression to make the bales more convenient. Each bale is approximately 12"x12"x20" and 17Kg (37.5lbs). Transfeeder produces four different "flavours;" Sport Horse, Gentle Blend, Diet and Elite. Sport Horse, Gentle and Diet are all Timothy, Brome, Orchard with a bit of Fescue while Elite is pure Timothy. Sport Horse is first cut and more fibrous, perfect for healthy, foraging animals. Gentle is a second cut and much softer and an excellent choice for older animals, or animals with chewing or digestion issues. Diet is a low sugar alternative and best used with the approval of a vet or nutritionist. Our customers love the size and weight of our small bales and the consumers range from hamsters to rabbits to horses.
