Two Karelian Bear Dog puppies, born March 27, 2023, available for adoption after June 5. I have one male and one female purebred, non registered Bear Dogs who will be middle sized dogs, friendly, non-aggressive, intelligent, & active with a sweet disposition. The puppies are being raised on my farm 20 minutes north of Edmonton. They will be offered with their first immunizations and fully vet checked. This breed was developed in NE Finland to harass and chase away big predators, such as bears and wild boar. They are being used in Alaska and British Columbia on ranches to decrease bear predation of cattle. However, they are very friendly and make a wonderful affectionate family pet. I would welcome scheduled visits to meet these puppies, their mother and Aunt, now over one year of age. Attached pictures are of the 2 fully grown dogs & the 2 puppies (6 weeks).
